4 Days Marrakech Desert Tour to Fes Itinereray:

Día 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valle del Dades

Depart from Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, admire traditional Berber villages clinging to the hillsides. Stop at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular film location for classics like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Continue through Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," before following the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” into the Dades Valley, where dramatic red cliffs and lush oases create stunning scenery. Overnight in a hotel overlooking the Dades Gorges.

Día 2: Valle del Dades – Gargantas del Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, drive through the Dades Valley to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where sheer cliffs rise nearly 300 meters above a crystal-clear river. Take a short walk in the gorge before continuing to Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and lively date market.

Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Swap your vehicle for camels and embark on a trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying the spectacular desert sunset. Spend the night in a traditional Berber-style desert camp with dinner, music, and stargazing.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, ride camels or 4x4 back to Merzouga and start your journey towards Fes. Drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its vast date palm groves and dramatic landscapes.

Continue via Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, and pass through Azrou’s Cedar Forest, home to the playful Barbary apes. Make another stop in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine architecture and cool climate, before arriving in Fes in the evening.

Day 4: Fes Guided Sightseeing Tour

Dedicate the day to exploring Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. With a local guide, wander through the labyrinthine streets of the Fes el-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest car-free urban zones in the world.

Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the famous tanneries, and centuries-old artisan workshops that keep traditional crafts alive. The tour concludes in Fes with drop-off at your accommodation.
