Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)

Stop in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets, before continuing to Azrou’s cedar forest where you can spot the Barbary apes. Cross the dramatic landscapes around Midelt before reaching the lush palm groves of the Ziz Valley.

Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Swap your vehicle for camels and ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, watching the sun set over the horizon. Dinner, music, and an unforgettable night await in a traditional desert camp under the stars.
